What is the most important to DIY your studio?

The sense of Light & Shadow, not because how many spot lights you have thus will create no shadow, but you can control what the light come in to your BOX.

I got this Japanese rice bowl last night from my friend, it is beautiful with the Blue Snowflakes pattern, thus I decide to take couple hours for these photos, hope you like it too.

ISO 400, Shutter speed from 1/25 to 1/100 depends on the Aperture which is about f5.6

So the setting is not complicated,  all I got are the materials, a box, transparent baking paper, silver aluminium foil DIY reflector.
Then you may ask what lens I use, that is a cctv China made 35mm f1.6 with a little adapter ring, c mount to NEX adapter with my Sony NEX 3.
Camera as usual, Sony NEX 3
Little tripod all I got.

Enjoy.
